“I really enjoyed the first volunteering session at SASCO. It was fulfilling to see the seniors enjoying themselves. I wish we had more time with them and could get to know them better, so they would feel more comfortable interacting with us. Perhaps we could also do more activities that encourage personal interaction, such as drawing or arts and crafts, which allow for greater self-expression.”

As a volunteer, Rachel is interested in dementia care, cognitive health, and the mental well-being of older adults. Through meaningful care and social engagement, she hopes to contribute positively to improving the quality of life of older adults in the community.
